Later this week, we will receive our first shipment of Minichamps' 1:18-scale 1948 Land Rover Series I in matte green. This iconic go-anywhere vehicle is practically synonymous with Britain itself, and along with the Willys Jeep is the co-father of the modern SUV. Minichamps have nailed the details on this one, from its rugged engine bay to its spartan interior. Sensibly priced at $155, the Minichamps Land Rover is now available for pre-order, with our first shipment due to arrive on Thursday.

MINICHAMPS' 1:43 PORSCHE 916

Another week, another new Porsche model! This time, it's the 916 in 1:43 by Minichamps. With a production run of only eleven, the 916 stands as one of Porsche's rarest road cars, and with a 190-horsepower 911S motor in the middle, it was also their fastest at time of its release. This highly desirable model is now available in a customarily precise 1:43-scale diecast model by Minichamps. As with the Land Rover above, the 916 is expected to arrive at Model Citizen on Thursday, August 25, and is now available for pre-order.
